{"id":46033,"date":"2024-03-19T16:06:43","date_gmt":"2024-03-19T15:06:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.enac.gov.it\/equipaggio-di-cabina\/"},"modified":"2024-05-07T16:06:26","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T14:06:26","slug":"equipaggio-di-cabina","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.enac.gov.it\/en\/safety-security\/personnel-certification\/personnel-licencing\/cabin-crew\/","title":{"rendered":"Cabin crew"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field--item field--item--align\">\n<p>For those wishing to work as cabin crew members (CC) in commercial air transport operation on aircraft registered in an EASA Member State or in third countries (ref. articles 4.1(b) and (c) of Regulation (EC) No. 216\/2008), it is necessary to be qualified and be the holders of a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA), in accordance with the technical requirements and administrative procedures as defined in Regulation (EU) No. 1178\/2011.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for a CCA the applicant shall:<br \/>\n\u25cf be at least 18 years old;<br \/>\n\u25cf have successfully completed the required initial theoretical and practical training course and passed the examination;<br \/>\n\u25cf hold a medical certificate compliant with the applicable requirements of Part-MED (Annex IV to Regulation (EU) No. 1178\/2011).<br \/>\nAfter meeting the eligibility criteria, it is possible to apply for a CCA either:<br \/>\n\u25cf to the competent authority of the Member State in which the applicant wishes to exercise the privileges of the CCA; or<br \/>\n\u25cf to the competent authority of another EASA Member State.<\/p>\n<p>The application for the issue of the CCA shall be made in a form and manner established by the Member State in which it is submitted. The applicant shall comply with all the requirements needed for the issue of the attestation. In order to exercise the privileges of the CCA in a Member State, it is also necessary to comply with both the relevant operational requirements set out in the applicable Air Operations Regulation and those related to medical fitness set out in Annex IV (Part-MED) of the Aircrew Regulation (Reg.
