RPA’s (Remoted Piloted Aircraft) or drones are becoming more and more popular for many activities. ENAC, following EASA and EUROCONTROL activities in this field, is working on:

  1. Operations in critical areas, e.g. ATZ. A new circular will be issued to manage this kind of activities;
  2. Operations in BVLOS. The target is operations in non segregated airspace.

Procedures for drones activities are included in ATM-05 circular (only Italian language).
